Chartered Business Valuators Institute elects Burlington’s Trevor Hood, CPA, CA, CBV, CFF as Ontario Director
Burlington, Ontario: SB Partners LLP is excited to announce the election of Partner and President Valuations Trevor Hood, CPA, CA, CBV, CFF to the position of Director for Ontario, at the Chartered Business Valuators Institute (CBV), for a term of 3 years. As a CBV, Trevor is committed to advancing the business valuation profession in Canada and specializes in business valuation, forensic accounting, litigation support, corporate finance, and private investment across a range of businesses.
Trevor joins newly elected Director for Quebec, EY Partner Patrice Dumais, CPA, CFA, CBV, ASA. Trevor and Patrice commence their tenure on June 25, 2024.

Trevor has been an integral part of SB Partners for over 30 years. Obtaining his CBV designation in 2003, Trevor is also a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and certified in financial forensics. Trevor specializes in family law, mergers and acquisitions, income tax, and succession planning-related valuations with a focus on private enterprise. Trevor works closely with the Halton, Peel, and Hamilton Law Associations leading workshops for lawyers to reinforce the importance of business valuations in family law matters.
