The firm is built on trust, integrity, and honesty. Our values go beyond how we conduct ourselves in business, they extend to the community and team who have supported our success.
Living our values, by giving back, is central to how we nurture the fabric of our community. Caring for our people, our clients, and the world around us is reflected in our philosophy and ingrained in our culture.
Supporting communities across Ontario

Today, we have extended our charitable and community outreach from Burlington to the surrounding areas in Southern Ontario. As we continue to grow and expand our network, we look forward to getting involved in your community! Learn more about how we’ve supported amazing organizations in Burlington, Hamilton, and Oakville.
Initiatives we support in our Communities
SB Partners has deep roots in giving back. We stand behind the efforts of organizations such as the United Way, YMCA, Burlington Foundation, Joseph Brant Hospital, Heart & Stroke, the HSPCA and more – through local partnerships, programs, and campaigns.
SB Partners Education Scholarship Fund
The SB Partners Education Scholarship, established in 2007, provided $3,000 ($5,000 from 2024) annually. This scholarship is presented to a deserving Burlington High School student intending to pursue further education in accounting or business.
The fund was established and is managed by the Burlington Foundation and the scholarship award is rotated between the Burlington high schools each year.
Burlington Hospital Foundation
In 2020, we matched $2500 raised through fundraising with an additional $2500 to support the Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation in supplying personal protection equipment to our front-line workers and hospital staff to help protect them during the pandemic.
In 2023, we made a $25,000 pledge (spread over 5 years) to Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation to help ensure all individuals facing mental health and addiction (MHA) challenges receive timely and effective care.
We proudly support the Women in Leadership and Philanthropy events hosted by the foundation.
United Way Hamilton and Halton
At a time when more than 143,562 individuals and families will rely on United Way Programs, our commitment to supporting our community remains firm.
Throughout the year, we support the United Way through a fundraising week, participating in Sleepless in our Cities, and sponsoring events.
In 2023 our fundraising week raised over $17,000.
