United Way Hamilton/ Halton

At a time when more than 143,562 individuals and families will rely on United Way Programs, our commitment to supporting our community remains firm.

Throughout the year, we support the United Way through a fundraising week, participating in Sleepless in our Cities, and sponsoring events.

In 2023 our fundraising week raised over $17,000.

Sleepless in Our Cities

Where more than 143,562 individuals and families will rely on United Way Programs annually, our commitment to supporting thei community initiatives remains firm.

Since 2021, members of the SB Team have joined the Sleepless in our Cities Campaign to raise funds for those who are being pushed to their limits. For one night each year we endure the cold and discomfort that has become the norm for so many individuals and families in our community.

Hamilton Halton Construction Association

The HHCA’s Young Leaders Group (YLG) is a key contributor to the association’s activities.

Community minded, the YLG regularly supports two important charities, Hamilton FoodShare, a hub of the emergency food network in Hamilton which supports both local foodbanks and hot meal programs, and Threads of Life, an organization dedicated to supporting families following a workplace tragedy.

Halton Women's Place

Halton Women’s Place is an organization providing shelter and crisis services for physically, emotionally, financially and sexually abused women and their dependent children and is dedicated to ending domestic violence.
