Deborah holds an Honours Bachelor of Accounting from Brock University, where she graduated from the co-op accounting program. She began her career at a Toronto-based accounting firm and over the next 15 years, Deb gained extensive experience auditing public entities, private companies, and not-for-profit organizations. In December 2020, she made the leap to SB Partners, where she expanded her work with not-for-profit organizations while strengthening collaboration with clients and team members.
Since joining SB Partners, Deb has partnered with owner-managed businesses and not-for-profit organizations, guiding clients in identifying efficiencies and making informed strategic decisions. Her expertise spans multiple industries including real estate, professional services, manufacturing, and not‐for‐profit organizations. With over ten years of specialized experience auditing not-for-profit organizations, Deb brings deep knowledge and insight to this sector.
Deb quickly became a trusted resource for both clients and colleagues. In 2023, she was promoted to Principal, where she provided guidance on complex tax and audit issues and played a key role in driving SB Partners’ growth and sustainability. Her ability to foster collaboration makes her an invaluable member of our team. Deb’s can-do attitude make her an esteemed colleague. She consistently demonstrates a collaborative spirit by offering support, sharing knowledge, and mentoring others. She approaches challenges as opportunities for growth and inspires those around her to achieve excellence.
Beyond her professional achievement Deb is also deeply committed to community involvement. She actively participates in local initiatives and has a passion for activities like golf and speed skating. Her dedication to giving back reflects SB Partners’ values and strengthens our connection to the communities we serve.
