Sleepless for Our Community

On February 20th, 2026 SB Partners team members, Trevor Hood and Eric LaCourt will be participating in United Way Halton & Hamilton’s Sleepless For Our Community event by spending the night in their cars. For one night, they will sleep in their cars to experience the discomfort and cold which is a reality that far too many individuals and families face every day. SB Partners has been participating in this event since 2021, this event isn’t just symbolic; it’s a powerful stand against poverty and a way to raise critical funds for local programs that make a real difference.

Your donation will help United Way Halton & Hamilton support 124 essential programs that provide financial literacy, food security, mental health resources, and youth services. All basic human rights that should never be a privilege. Last year, thanks to donors like you, over 220,500 vulnerable individuals received life-changing support.

We are continuously humbled by the generosity of those who have supported us and we are confident that we will surpass the $10,000 we raised in 2025. Together, we can double the impact to help more families! SB Partners has also pledged to match our first $2,500 in pledges. Plus, all donations up to $150,000 will be matched by a generous local family!

Join us in this journey. Your donation will help create a stronger, more caring community.

Please consider supporting one of our colleagues;

Thank you for your generosity!

Far too many in our community are faced with making the difficult choice of paying for heat or providing food to their family.  Some find themselves couch surfing as they do not have a place of their own to call home, while others fall into the shadow of shame and stigma, preventing them from coming forward for help. When people live in poverty, choices like these can seem unbearable.
