Business Health Council has developed a free online guide to help business owners take charge of their businesses through a series of actionable, and structured, steps. This comprehensive guide acts as a how-to playbook for business owners and senior executives by coordinating planning activities within sales, marketing, operations, finance, accounting, human capital, and information technology.
“Unlike other resources that tend to be specific to one function or issue, our guide is structured as a three-phase system that ties together critical strategies across all functions,” said Steve Wittal, Sales and Marketing SME, Business Health Council. “All parts of a business need to function as a well-integrated system to be effective. Solving one tactical issue won’t help much if the rest of the business is out of sync,” Wittal added.
The three critical phases to managing any business crisis – from a pandemic like COVID-19 to a more business or industry-specific challenge like regulatory changes – include Mobilize, Adapt, and Evolve. Each phase builds on the last, helping business owners strategically tackle any challenge from the initial crisis response to the longer-term evolution of the business within the new reality.
