Living our values by giving back is central to how we nurture the fabric of our community. Caring for our people, our clients and the world around us is reflected in our philosophy and ingrained in our culture.
Over the years, we have devoted considerable time and resources to a range of worthy organizations, activities and causes.
We are proud of our generous team members, who go above and beyond to embody the spirit of giving in the community. Our CIC Committee raises funds internally throughout the year. Recently we have: provided Christmas items to a number of long-term care residents; helped out at food banks; provided Christmas for families in need; raised money for United Way; participated in the Big Bike Ride for Heart and Stroke, baked cupcakes for HSPCA’s National Cupcake Day and so much more.
Over the years, we have hosted a Think Camp for Executive Directors of not-for-profit and charitable organizations. We understand the challenges Executive Director’s face and offer the Think Camp as an opportunity for ED’s and their senior teams to learn together about interesting topics and support their organizations’ missions. It is a meaningful way to strengthen a community that benefits so many lives.
In addition to the many events and sponsorships of numerous community organizations, corporately, SB Partners has supported the capital campaigns including the new Joseph Brant Hospital, Burlington Performing Arts Centre, Art Gallery of Burlington and the Carpenter Hospice.
In addition, the company maintains an SB Education Scholarship fund with the Burlington Foundation.
